The constituency Development Fund is established under the CDF Act 2013 with the primary objective of addressing poverty at grass root level by dedicating a minimum of 2.5% of the ordinary government revenue to grassroots development and the reduction of poverty. The fund is managed by the NGCDF Board at the National level and coordinated by the Constituency Development Committee (NGCDFC) at the constituency level.

For NG-CDFC to operate effectively and efficiently, they need qualified staff.

Dagoretti North NG-CDF Committee invites applications from qualified, experienced, dynamic and highly motivated candidates to fill the following position(s) in its office as to achieve its objectives.
Pursuant to the provisions of the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) Act (amended 2016) in sections 43(1), (2), (3) & 57(1) and its regulations, Dagoretti North National Government Constituency Development Fund invites members of the public to submit written applications for membership to the National Government Development Fund Committee for Dagoretti North Constituency for a period of two (2) years.

Mandatory qualifications for the aforementioned positions are as follows:

  1. A Kenyan citizen (Attach copy of ID)
  2. A resident voter in the constituency (Attach copy of voter’s card or a letter from the constituency elections coordinator indicating one is a registered voter in Dagoretti North)
  3. Able to read and write, and to communicate in English and Kiswahili (Attach copy of KCPE and / or KCSE Certificate or its equivalent and other relevant academic certificates)
  4. Meet the requirement of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya
  5. Is available to participate in activities of Dagoretti North constituency NG-CDF committee.

In addition to the above general requirements;

  1. Applicants for the position of Male and Female Youth Representative must have attained the age of eighteen (18) years but below the age of thirty-five (35) years during his/ her term in the office
  2. Applicants for the position of Person with Disability Representative must attach a letter signed and stamped by three (3) officials of a registered group representing persons with disability in the constituency nominating them to the position, signed copy of minutes nominating the PWD to the committee and with a copy of the groups’ registration certificate attached.

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications in writing, attaching certified copies of testimonials and clearly indicating the position applied for and the vacancy number on the subject line as well as the Ward, Location, Sub-Location and Village of origin, current postal address and day telephone number.

All the applications must be hand delivered to the Dagoretti North NG-CDF Office in Mijikenda Road Suits No. 22 Off Olenguruone Road.

  • The Deadline for applications is 4:00 pm, Friday, 13th December, 2024
  • Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances
  • Applicants are asked to ensure that they sign a register provided at the reception indicating that they have delivered their application and shall receive a card indicating their application serial number
  • Any form of canvassing will be recorded and the candidate shall automatically be disqualified.
